Questions, answered

Fitment, road rules, installation, payments and delivery — the things people ask before they bolt something on.

Fitment

How do I know a part fits my car?

Add your car to My Garage — choose the make, then the model and generation. Every product page then confirms whether the part fits your vehicle, or tells you plainly if it doesn't.

Our fitment list covers Australian-delivered models. Some parts only suit certain variants, engines or build dates, so check the spec notes on the product page too.

Shop by car

My exact variant or year isn't listed. What should I do?

Contact us before you order with your make, model, year, variant and build date (it's on the compliance plate). We'll check with the supplier and tell you straight whether it fits.

Ask about fitment

Do your parts fit grey imports and imported JDM cars?

Our fitment data is for Australian-delivered models. Many parts also fit imported versions, but specifications can differ between markets — ask us first and we'll confirm.

What does “Universal fit” mean?

The part isn't made for one specific vehicle — think detailing products, recovery gear, apparel or some lighting. Check the dimensions and specifications before ordering.

We don't label a part universal when its fit depends on your car. Roof racks and cross bars, seat covers, floor mats and car covers are only listed against the vehicles their supplier names. Not sure? Ask us before you order.

Road legality (ADR & state rules)

Will an aftermarket exhaust be too loud to be legal?

Modified exhausts still have to meet the noise limits that apply to your vehicle, and enforcement varies between states. Check the compliance note on the product page, and keep any compliance documents that come with the system in the car.

Can I get a defect notice for a modification?

Yes. Police and road authorities can issue defect notices for modifications that don't comply. Keep paperwork such as compliance certificates and engineering reports with the vehicle.

Do I need to tell my insurer about modifications?

Yes — tell your insurer about any modifications. Undisclosed modifications can affect a claim or your cover.

Engineering certificates

When do I need an engineering certificate?

Bigger changes — such as larger suspension lifts, GVM upgrades, major brake or engine changes and some body modifications — usually need certification by an approved vehicle engineer or signatory. The thresholds are different in each state and territory, so check with your road authority before you buy. For example, NSW uses the VSCCS scheme and Victoria uses VASS.

Do you provide engineering certificates?

No, we don't issue certificates. Where a part comes with supporting documents such as test reports or compliance letters, we say so on the product page — and we're happy to help you work out what to ask your engineer.

Installation

Do you install parts?

We're an online store and don't install parts ourselves. For anything safety-related — brakes, suspension, steering, bull bars and airbag-compatible parts, wiring — we recommend a qualified installer.

Will aftermarket parts void my new-car warranty?

Not automatically. Generally, a vehicle manufacturer can't refuse all warranty claims just because aftermarket parts are fitted, but it can refuse to cover a fault that the part, or how it was fitted, caused. Check your warranty terms and talk to your dealer before major work like tuning.

Warranty

Do parts come with instructions?

Most parts include the manufacturer's instructions. Some — carbon aero and body parts especially — need test-fitting and professional fitment, and may need paint or wrap to match. The product page will say so.

Payments, Afterpay & Zip

Can I pay with Afterpay or Zip?

Yes, on orders up to $2,000 (the providers' per-order limit). Choose Afterpay or Zip at checkout to split your order into 4 payments. Approval, spending limits and any late fees are set by the provider, and their terms apply.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Afterpay and Zip.

Are prices in Australian dollars, and do they include GST?

All prices are in AUD and are the total you pay. We're not registered for GST, so no GST is charged. Your order confirmation email is your receipt.

Shipping

How long will delivery take?

It depends on where the part ships from: parts held in Australian warehouses usually arrive in 2–8 business days, and parts from international suppliers usually take 8–21 business days. Every product page shows its own estimate.

Shipping & delivery

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping is free on orders over $250. Otherwise it's a flat $14.95 per order, or $24.95 for express. Some items can't be sent express, so checkout only offers it when everything in your order can.

Why did my order arrive in more than one parcel?

We ship each part from whoever holds the stock — an Australian distributor or the manufacturer — so orders with parts from different suppliers arrive separately. You only pay shipping once, and you'll get tracking for every parcel.

Why does my parcel have another company's name on it?

Parts are sent straight from our partners' warehouses to you, so the packaging or shipping label may carry a partner's name rather than ours. Your order is still with us: contact us about anything to do with it, including returns and warranty.

How do wheel orders work?

Wheels are sold and shipped as a set of four. Tyres aren't included unless the product says so.

Before we order your wheels, our team confirms the fitment with you: your car, and any brake, suspension or tyre changes. Your wheels ship once that's done.

Wheel orders

How long do made-to-order carbon parts take?

Carbon fibre parts marked “Made to order” are made for your order by our carbon fibre manufacturing partner overseas and sent to you from there. Before you buy, the product page shows the lead time, including the time to make the part, or tells you the dispatch date will be confirmed by email.

Because they're made for you, made-to-order parts can't be returned for change of mind. Faulty or wrong parts are covered as usual.

Returns policy

Do you ship outside Australia?

Not at the moment — we deliver to Australian addresses only.

Returns

Can I return a part if I change my mind?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, as long as it's unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging. You pay the return postage and there's no restocking fee. Installed, modified, custom and made-to-order parts can't be returned for change of mind.

Returns policy

What if my part is faulty?

Contact us with your order number and photos. You're entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law — a refund or replacement for a major failure, or a repair, replacement or refund for a minor one — and we'll cover the return freight.

Warranty

What if a part doesn't fit my car?

If we listed it as fitting your vehicle and it doesn't, we'll refund or replace it, including freight. If it was listed for a different vehicle, our change-of-mind terms apply as long as it hasn't been installed.
